Inefficiency

A really funny thing happened today, though it wasn't funny to me. I was given an appointment day and time to see my Doctor. Well, I went to the hospital at the time given to me. The time given was 2.05. So, I sat and waited for the nurse to call me. I heard the nurse calling other patients. I went to see the nurse to ask what had happened It was then that I found out what had happened. Apparently, the nurse who sent reminders by phone had wrongly reminded a few other patients that their appointment time was 2.05 p.m. And the time was nearly 4.00p.m and here I had been sitting on my wheel chair all the time waitng to see the Doctor. Can one imagine how I was feeling? My pressure was building up.

Finally, when I finally saw the Doctor I vented my frustrations at him, but he was already aware of the situation.
I hope something will be done in the future to rectify the situation. This was gross inefficiency.
